"Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ.

Phillippians 3:8

Whether you are investigating Christianity for the first time or looking for a spiritual home we want you to feel welcome at Padstow Congregrational Church. There is so much to be involved in but none more important than knowing God through our Lord Jesus Christ and loving one another with God’s love.
We are a church that treasures Jesus and His word. We seek to impact our community with the gospel of our Lord Jesus. Our mission is to respond to God’s decisive and mind-blowing act of grace and mercy shown to us in the death and resurrection of Jesus in the following ways -
To Reach UP  – ‘To Know Jesus Christ’
To Reach IN  – ‘To Grow Like Him’
To Reach OUT  – ‘To Make Him Known’
Our vision is that through all that we do as a church
1) Unbelievers locally and globally will come to magnify Jesus as they come to know Him
2) Christians would magnify Jesus more , whether in life or death. (Philippians 1:20-21)
Come and join us in this exciting journey of knowing God and one another in His local church…

Sunday Services

here is nothing quite like meeting with God and his people! At Padstow our goal is to make our time together on Sunday morning the best it possible can be.

We believe we meet the one true and living God – the God who speaks in his Word (the Bible) and hears our prayers and knows us intimately through Jesus Christ. For this reason the Bible and prayer are always central to our gatherings. Our meetings are not formal and anyone is welcome. Our music is a mixture of contemporary and traditional. The focus of our worship from the inside out, rather than what we wear or how well I sing in tune or time etc.

Children – There is always something for the kids during the service with Kidz Biz where children learn about God from the bible. We are very much a family church. (At the moment due to small numbers there is only a childrens spot during service)

Morning Tea - This is another important aspect of our time together on Sunday, where we can get to know one another better and personally welcome those who are new to us.
